The talented Dio Perez, who is responsible for designing our logo and business card, exceeded our expectations with her great creativity when we wanted to notify people of our name change to Red Lantern Photography.

Originally, we were going to just have Dio design a basic postcard that informed bridal professionals and our clients that we were no longer known as Photography by Nader Coobtee. However, she felt that postcards were too easy to throw away and were too mundane.

She showed me her design concept, and it was better than I could have imagined! As you can see in the photo, it consists of a 5x7 piece of red cardstock with black printing and a bamboo graphic on the front. The card was bundled with a flat, red lantern with a metal hanger and placed in a transparent, cellophane envelope. On the back of the card, there is information regarding our services, accompanied by miniature gold envelope that holds two of our business cards and instructions to "inflate" the enclosed red paper lantern.

The mailers were a big hit! More than a few recipients have commented on how much they liked the design and that they've inflated the lantern to hang in their office or at home.
